ROMAGNA TRAIL 2025

The 2025 edition includes the departure and arrival from "La Casetta Rio del Sol" in Forlì, among orchards and good typical Romagna food! The route is a ring of 310 km and a difference in altitude of approximately 6800 m. You will encounter villages and small towns, along paths, mule tracks, dirt roads and secondary asphalt roads. You will cycle and cross the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, a place where silence and nature will surprise you (the only event authorized for passage). Every year we modify the route to give it an increasingly new flavor, while always remaining faithful to the concept of bikepacking and adventure in the midst of nature.
The 2025 track is revisited compared to that of the year previous for approximately 70%. The main new features:
departure from the "Casetta Rio Sol"
the flat stretch of the Adriatic coast has been eliminated.
more "gravel oriented" and pedalable track;
the kilometers traveled within the Casentino woods have increased;
the only event authorized by the CASENTINESI FOREST PARK Authority
The track is planned so that everyone can manage the route in their own way, based on their "leg" and time. Along the route there are B&Bs, hotels and houses that rent rooms, as well as two affiliated campsites (one with equipped tents to rent) to help you rest. Which bike do we recommend? Even if the route is very varied and therefore the MTB is in some ways the most versatile bike, in truth in recent years the gravel has been widely used, because it is faster in the smooth parts (but harder in the higher paths). In all cases we recommend good "tyre" and "ratio".
There will be video makers and photographers present along the route.

How much time do I need? 2 days for the "speedy", 3 days to experience it (average of 100 km per day), 4 days if you have time and don't just want to pedal.
